According to the evaluation, the international integration process has been implemented comprehensively and deeply in both policy and action over the past time, contributing significantly to maintaining the peaceful environment, stability, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity. Vietnam takes advantages to maximum external resources to develop the country and improve people's lives; raise power and prestige of the country. The integration process also created a strong impetus to promote domestic reform and innovation.

Particularly, Vietnam signed and concluded negotiations on many FTAs (with South Korea, the Europe-Asian Economic Union, CPTPP, EVFTA, etc.), opened up a large cooperation for the economy that is growing in the coming time.

In particular, Vietnam has expanded and upgraded partnerships with many countries, successfully organized regional and global events such as APEC 2017, WEF - ASEAN 2018, the second U.S. - Korea Summit (February 2019), etc. are the testimonies that Vietnamese policy is a friend, a trusted partner of the international community, improving the national position, demonstrating Vietnam's active and positive role.
