Long An leaders congratulate press agencies on Vietnam Revolutionary Journalism Day

On June 19, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of People's Council of Long An Province - Pham Van Ranh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa and representatives of departments and branches visited and congratulated the press agencies on the occasion of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism Day (June 21).

The delegation visited and congratulated Long An Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television, Provincial Vietnam Journalist Association, Vietnam News Agency - Resident Office in Long An, and the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts.

Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Long An Newspaper - Le Hong Phuoc reported on the performance of tasks in the first 6 months of the year to Long An provincial leaders

Representatives of press agencies reported on the performance of tasks in the first 6 months of the year as well as expressed difficulties and obstacles to be timely supported by provincial leaders.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of People's Council of Long An province - Pham Van Ranh highly appreciated the results of the press agencies. Specifically, in the process of implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, the press agencies always coordinate with the provincial leaders in introduction of guidelines and policies of the Party and the government to create consensus amongst people.

Thanks to the press agencies, the provincial leaders promptly received people's opinions and feedbacks to adjust the issues to suit the actual situation.
