Long An responds to National Brand Week

Long An Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to respond to National Brand Week in order to celebrate Vietnamese Brand Day on April 20. In Long An, activities take place from April 10 to 21.

The purpose of the activities is to raise awareness, promote Vietnamese brand image to consumers

The plan aims to promote the National Brand Program and its activities according to Decision No.253/2003/QĐ-TTg, dated November 25, 2003 of the Prime Minister.

The purpose of the activities is to raise awareness, promote Vietnamese brand image to consumers, gain prestige and enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises in domestic and foreign markets.

The two main tasks of the plan include encouraging businesses to carry out activities to celebrate Vietnamese Brand Day as well as introducing activities on banners at streets, portals of the province, departments, branches, localities, unions,  websites of the businesses and mass media.

The main roads in Tan An City will hang about 120 banners to attract the attention of local people.

The provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and cooperate with the departments, branches and local authorities to implement the plan./.
