Village growing apricot blossom recognized in Tan Tay commune

On July 31, the Long An Department of Agriculture and Rural Development cooperated with Thanh Hoa district People's Committee to hold a ceremony to award the certificate of apricot blossom village in Tan Tay commune.

Currently, in Tan Tay commune, there are 257 households growinging apricot blossom, with a total area of nearly 184 hectares. The commune has set up a cooperative to grow apricot trees in hamlet 4 with 30 members in 2018. This cooperative group provides seedlings, guides planting techniques and cares for people in need. Recently, the district also paid attention to infrastructure investment, promoted the transfer of science, technology and vocational training so that the apricot blossom growing industry in Tan Tay could be developed and achieved economic efficiency.
