On January 25, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Long An Energy Group Co., Ltd., former Deputy Prime Minister of Germany - Dr. Philipp Roesler as the head of the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of Long An province. At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc informed about the socio-economic development of Long An province in recent years. The province achieved some encouraging results when it overcame the difficult period due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the epidemic was controlled, ensuring good implementation of people's health care.

At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc also introduced about investment and construction of industrial parks and clusters in the province; the province's interest and facilitation of production and business for foreign enterprises, especially German-invested enterprises. As of January 2022, German enterprises have invested in 8 projects in Long An province with a total registered capital of 19 million USD.
