Accordingly, the province organizes 24-hour combat readiness inspection and duty for command departments at all levels, ensuring "3 readiness" at the commune level. It mobilizes the entire political system to focus resources on epidemic prevention and control.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut said that the province will focus on implementing "3 pillars" in the coming time: the narrowest possible blockade, with specific goals, timetable, serious isolation (priority at home if eligible or concentrated isolation); the fastest test, before the speed of the virus's spread; effective treatment, early, remotely, minimizing severe transfer and death.

At the same time, the province pays attention to coordinating and supporting businesses to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, restores production and business. It promotes information dissemination, raises community awareness, continue to well implement 5K measures. It mobilizes people to make honest medical declarations, strictly complies with regulations on epidemic prevention and control, vaccination, testing, etc; only participate in mass gathering activities when absolutely necessary.

Information from the Long An Provincial Command for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, currently, the province focuses on vaccinating children aged 12-17 years old, especially those aged 15-17 years old; makes statistics and plan for booster vaccination for people aged 18 years and older; plans injection for F0 cases older than 6 months (expected to be completed in December 2021) and vaccination schedule in 2022.

In addition, the province is also reviewing and developing additional teaching plans in the current conditions, detailing the organization of direct teaching and learning at educational institutions for cases where students have been vaccinated, have not been vaccinated. Vaccination, study time, specific area, school, etc. are suitable for each locality in the province, each epidemic level.

In addition to the efforts of the province, to meet the requirements of epidemic prevention and control in the new situation, Long An has proposed to the Ministry of Health to pay attention to allocating enough Covid-19 vaccines for people aged 3-15 years old in the province in 2021 and the vaccination plan in 2022 (2,085,368 doses, including the 3rd dose for people 18 years of age and older, the 3rd dose for 12-17 year olds, 2 doses for 3-11 year olds, 2 doses for the F0 over 6 months).

According to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut, the capacity and resources of the province's health system still reveal many limitations, especially at the grassroots level. Therefore, the province also proposed the Ministry of Health to support a number of medical equipment for the resuscitation of Covid-19 patients such as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation machines (ECMO), dialysis machines, high functional ventilators (Bennett 840).

On the other hand, due to the impact of the epidemic, prolonged social distancing, job loss, and many difficulties in people's lives, the province has proposed to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to consider dividing additional 2,392,425 kilos of rice to support workers, lottery ticket sellers and other freelance workers who are temporarily staying at inns in the province./.
