Thailand ’s Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City pays a courtesy visit to Long An leaders

On September 22, Thailand ’s Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City paid a courtesy visit to Long An province’s leaders. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee - Tran Van Can and leaders of some provincial departments and branches received the delegation.

Recently, the cooperation and friendship between Vietnam - Thailand in general, Long An province - Thailand in particular have been strengthened and developed in many fields, especially the import and export of goods, services, cultural and artistic exchanges, education, travel, etc.

At present, Thailand is in the top 10 of 37 countries and territories that have a large investment value of the province with 22 business projects. The total investment is nearly 300 million USD.

Mr. Apirat Sugondhabhirom thanked the leaders of Long An province for creating favorable conditions for the delegation to meet, exchange impressively and effectively. According to him, the visit to Long An to learn more about the potential and strengths of the province to encourage Thailand partners and businesses to invest in the province as well as introduce some modern products and equipment for application in agricultural production.

Mr. Tran Van Can also hoped that Mr. Apirat Sugondhabhirom will continue to be a bridge to promote the cooperation between Long An province and Thailand investors, especially to enhance cultural exchanges, people and cooperation in industry, contributing to promoting the good traditional friendship between Vietnam and Thailand./.
