Vietnam’s Paracel and Spratly Islands: Their historical and legal prove

This content of the digital exhibition is organized by the Grassroot Department of Information - Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications, Department of Education and Training of Long An in Long An province in 3 days (from November 9 to 11).

Deputy Director of Grassroot Department of Information under Ministry of Information and Communications - Tran Thi Quoc Hien; Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tuan, former Director of the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Deputy Head of Propaganda Department of Long An Provincial Party Committee - Truong Thi Thanh Thuy attended the meeting.

The exhibition provides information, historical and legal evidence on Vietnam's sovereignty over sea and islands; the process of establishing and enforcing sovereignty over sea and islands as well as introducing beautiful images of the country and people of Vietnam through 3D virtual reality technology, including 3D Digital Exhibition, 3D Digital Table, Application augmented Paracel Islands’ reality photography and the latest application of Paracel Islands Journey Interactive Game.

Through exhibitions, delegates, teachers, students better understand the historical and legal evidence on Vietnam's sovereignty over the sea and islands on the Paracel and Spratly Islands.

The exhibition helps to answer and provide more information related to the sea and islands, especially Vietnam's sovereignty over the two archipelagos of Paracel and Spratly; potentials and advantages of Vietnam's sea and islands in marine economic development; information related to climate change, sea-level rise and so on as well as guidelines and policies of the Party and the State in resolving issues related to Vietnam's sovereignty on the two Islands of Paracel and Spratly.

The digital exhibition "Vietnam’s Paracel and Spratly Islands: Their historical and legal evidence" took place at the schools: Long An High School for Gifted Students (in Tan An city), Hau Nghia High School (in Duc Hoa district) and Kien Tuong High School (in Kien Tuong town)./.
