However, in reality, farmers have faced many difficulties in applying information technology to agricultural production. Therefore, the department organized training courses for farmers to access and apply information technology in production effectively.
The content of the training course consisted of basic knowledge on information technology application for agricultural production; models of information technology application in agricultural production; some smart agricultural solutions; and information technology application in goods origin verification.

At the training course, farmers also learned basic knowledge about high-tech applications in production, methods of using the Internet, etc.
According to Mr. Ho Van Dan, in the coming time, the department will coordinate with relevant departments, branches and local authorities to focus on training to improve information technology application skills for farmers.
In particular, the training courses will focus on introducing social networks, connecting and searching for information on the Internet as well as effective tools of Google for farmers to quickly access high technology. From there, they can approach the State's policies related to agriculture; learn, create and improve the agricultural production process; grasp the market situation, look for inputs and outputs to actively advertise their products, etc./.
