The application period of Covid "Green card" and "Yellow card" will be implemented from September 21 until further notice.

Accordingly, the Covid "Green card" is for individuals who meet one of the such conditions as: They have received enough 2 shots of the vaccine and over 14 days after injecting the shot 2. They have received 1 shot of vaccine for the 1-shot vaccine and over 14 days after the injection. Cases F0 have been treated at a medical facility that has recovered from the disease and have been granted a hospital-leaving certificate or a certificate of completing the treatment by the medical facility (not more than 6 months from the date of issuance). Cases F0 treated at home have recovered from the disease and have been granted a certificate of completing the treatment by the Health Center at the request of the commune health station (not more than 6 months from the date of issuance of the certificate).

Particularly for those who work as teachers, employees, so on must perform periodic testing. When they are eligible for the Covid "Green card", they still have to undergo periodic testing as prescribed.

For the Covid "Yellow card", for individuals who meet one of the conditions, have received 1 shot of the vaccine for the type of vaccine that must be given 2 doses and injected enough14 days. Particularly those who work in the prescribed environment must carry out periodical testing (teachers, employees, etc.); When they are eligible for Covid "Green card", they still have to perform periodic testing as prescribed. They have negative periodic PCR test results, testing frequency is every 3 days and has been updated on the electronic database system.

The Covid "Green card" and "Yellow card" are valid as substitutes for travel papers.Persons who meet the Covid "Green card" conditions are allowed to move within the province, except for the areas where the restriction-travelling measures are being applied for epidemic prevention and control. People who meet the Covid "Yellow card" condition are allowed to move within the district-level area, except for areas where restriction-travelling measures are being applied.

Particularly, those who meet the Covid "Yellow card" condition are officials, civil servants, public employees and employees working at state agencies and units (including central agencies and units located in the province), if they are certified by the head of the agency or unit, they may travel within the province to go to work or go on a business trip.

For those who have not met the conditions of Covid "Green card" and "Yellow card" such as pupils, students are allowed to move daily from their residence to school (in case their residence and study place are different from the district level, they must be certified by the head of the educational institution).

For people under 18 years old (not students) and those who are contraindicated to vaccinate, who are granted a papers by the district-level health center to restrict their travel to commune-level areas; in case it is necessary to travel out of the commune-level area (within the district-level area), a negative PCR test result must be obtained within 72 hours.

However, those who meet the conditions of Covid "Green card" and "Yellow card" still have to comply with the 5K request of the Ministry of Health and strictly and fully comply with Covid-19 prevention and control measures in accordance with regulations of different levels of government when they travel and participate in specific activities.

Covid cards are used in the form of identification documents accompanied by certificates of competent authorities or technology applications on smartphones.
