Long An leaders visit Cambodia & participate in Ngo boat race festival
Deputy Chairman of the Long An province People’s Council Nguyen Thanh Cang on October 28 led the delegation to visit the Kingdom of Cambodia at the invitation of Svay Rieng Province’s leaders and take part in the Ngo Boat Race Festival.
The event is one of annually traditional festivals being taken place on Waiko River, spanning through Svay Rieng City and Svay Rieng Province, Cambodia.
This year’s event attracted the participation of 44 teams from cross over the Cambodia. The organization board said it showed unity spirit between teams and was chance to people to thank to the Buddhist and pray for an abundant harvest and prosperous year./.
