Long An youths help disadvantaged people in Cambodia
The Vietnam Youth Union of the Mekong Delta province of Long An held a 2-day cultural exchange and voluntary program in Svay Teap district, Svay Rieng province, Kingdom of Cambodia on September 27 and 28.
The delegation donated a Vietnam – Cambodia house of friendship worth VND50 million
Accordingly, voluntary youngsters participated in giving free medical check-ups and medicine as well as offering gifts to 200 local residents.
Also, 10 bicycles, 1,000 notebooks and 50 helmets were donated to students.
The delegation introduced technology of breeding and freshwater aquaculture to Cambodia youngsters
Besides, Long An delegation donated a Vietnam – Cambodia friendship house and also transferred technology of breeding and freshwater aquaculture to Cambodian youngsters worth nearly VND200 million.
