The GRDP growth rate in the 2021-2025 period of the province after the merger is estimated at 6.73%/year; the economic scale by 2025 is estimated at nearly 352 trillion VND, an increase of 61.6% compared to 2020, ranking 10th in the country; People's lives are constantly improving, the average GRDP per capita in 2025 is estimated at 4,776 USD (equivalent to 118.25 million VND), an increase of 56.8% compared to 2020. Those results have contributed significantly to the successful implementation of key projects and breakthrough programs of the province in recent times.
Key projects such as Tan An City Ring Road; Provincial Road 830E, Provincial Road 827E are invested and deployed in areas of Long An province, forming a continuous connection route from Ho Chi Minh City through Long An (old) to Tien Giang (old), strengthening the connection between the Mekong Delta with Ho Chi Minh City and other gateways of the region, reducing pressure on National Highways: 1, N2, 50, creating a traffic connection axis from Provincial Roads with Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City. Thereby, contributing to relieving traffic congestion on inner-city routes, strengthening traffic connections with the national road network and Ho Chi Minh City, connecting industrial parks and clusters of the province to Hiep Phuoc port - Ho Chi Minh City as well as Long An International Port; promoting economic development, trade of goods, creating new development space for the whole region.

The key project of Tan An City Ring Road is invested with a total cost of more than 1,500 billion VND, nearly 23km long, 33m wide road surface, starting at the intersection of My Phu intersection and ending at the intersection of National Highway 1 - Provincial Road 833. After the construction period, the road will be officially put into operation and use at the end of 2023
For breakthrough programs, the province implements institutional breakthroughs, promptly advised the People's Council to issue a Resolution on applying and abolishing legal documents after the merger in order to have a legal basis when implementing, ensuring smoothness, effectiveness and efficiency; focuses on promoting decentralization, decentralization, creating breakthroughs in law enforcement, ensuring that laws are implemented fairly, strictly, consistently, promptly, effectively and efficiently; closely links law making and enforcement; timely promulgates and implements documents detailing the implementation of laws and decrees to remove difficulties and obstacles, promote production, business, economic development.
At the same time, the province establish a special working group to monitor the implementation of tasks and promptly direct the removal of difficulties and obstacles, proactively support and guide enterprises and investors to carry out procedures and processes to implement projects according to regulations. With the above efforts, the rankings of the indicators: PCI, PAR Index, SIPAS, PAPI, DDCI have improved year by year; notably, PCI remains among the leading groups in the country.
Regarding the breakthrough in human resources, the province focuses on improving the quality of human resources in the public sector; building and implementing the Project on Developing High-Quality Human Resources in the Public Sector of Tay Ninh Province. The Provincial People's Council promulgates policies to attract, support training and foster high-quality human resources; support civil servants, public employees and employees of the province's sectors. The policy of attracting, supporting training and fostering high-quality human resources is deployed to organizations and individuals, and propagated on various platforms, applications, newspapers, radio and television. Thereby, attracting many officials, civil servants and public employees with doctoral, master's and bachelor's degrees to serve in various sectors and fields in the province.
The program of training high-quality human resources to meet the needs of industrial and agricultural development of the province has been focused on; the rate of trained workers is forecast to be higher than the Resolution, focusing on training occupations associated with the needs of the industrial and agricultural sectors applying high technology such as: production of new materials, quality management, efficient and economical use of energy, mechanical engineering technology; electrical, electronic and telecommunications engineering technology; rice cultivation techniques according to VietGAP standards, contributing to increasing the added value of industrial and agricultural products of the province. With the goal of increasingly perfecting traffic infrastructure, creating development momentum, in addition to key traffic projects, the old Long An and old Tay Ninh provinces also proposed a Breakthrough Program on infrastructure development, especially traffic infrastructure, in the period of 2021-2025, completing the project Upgrading and expanding Provincial Road 824 to Kenh Ranh bridge; Hung Vuong - National Highway 62 Intersection project (Tan An City); extended 790 road, section from Khedol - Suoi Da (Provincial Road 790B) to Bo Ho - Bau Vuong (Provincial Road 781B) phase 2; sub-project Provincial Road 781 Phuoc Tan - Chau Thanh section of the Bien Mau Border Gate Road project; upgrading and expanding Provincial Roads 793 -792 (section from Tan Binh intersection to Chang Riec border gate). These projects contribute to perfecting the traffic infrastructure with connectivity and interconnectivity within the province and inter-region.
Regarding agricultural breakthroughs, the province focuses on implementing solutions to promote the application of high technology, build high-value agricultural production chains and sustainable linkages, in which, focusing on forming enterprises and organizations linked at high-value stages in the chain, especially the processing and consumption stages; building models of high-tech application on key crops and livestock (rice, vegetables, dragon fruit, lemon, cows, etc.); supporting cooperatives and agricultural enterprises to apply high technology in production, achieving many positive results. Through the program, farmers change their farming practices, use organic fertilizers, organic microorganisms in production. Agricultural products are of better quality, accepted by demanding markets, helping the province's agricultural products achieve higher productivity and added value. Accordingly, the agricultural sector continues to affirm its role as a pillar of the provincial economy; the growth rate is quite high, reaching an average of 3.64%/year.

Regarding tourism, to promote tourist destinations in Tay Ninh, the province has identified a group of key attractions including: Ba Den Mountain historical relic and scenic spot; Special National Historical Relic of the Southern Central Office Base; Cao Dai Tay Ninh Holy See; Dau Tieng Lake; Lang Sen Wetland Reserve; Tan Lap Floating Village, Hundred Pillar House, Vam Nhut Tao, Endless Field, etc.
In the period of 2021-2025, Tay Ninh tourism develops impressively, with rich products. The tourism industry exploits the potential and advantages of existing tourism resources, It is estimated that by 2025, it will attract about 7.7 million tourists, with total revenue of more than 3,700 billion VND. Tourists coming to Tay Ninh can experience unique and attractive tourism products and continue to return later, helping to prolong their stay in the province. Currently, investors have put into operation many high-class works such as: Tay Bo Da Son Buddha statue (the work has been recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the tallest bronze Buddha statue in Asia located on the top of the mountain); the world's largest cable car station; the world's largest sandstone Maitreya Buddha statue; etc.
It can be seen that in the past term, the province broke through with key projects and breakthrough programs, fully demonstrating the factors contributing to the socio-economic development of the province, in which developing transport infrastructure plays an important role, is the foundation for socio-economic development, maintains national defense and security, creates momentum for rapid and sustainable development. During the 2025-2030 term, the province sets the goal of "By 2030, Tay Ninh province will have a dynamic and sustainable economic development; become a strategic connection center between the Southeast region and the Mekong Delta, and a strategic trade hub with Cambodia; Promote integration, breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, comprehensive digital transformation, associated with circular economy, green development, proactive adaptation to climate change; Build a civilized society, safe living environment; creative government; ensure national defense and security. People can have a prosperous, civilized and happy life".

In order to realize the above goal, the province continues to propose key projects and breakthroughs for implementation. For key projects, the province prioritizes the formation of the North-South and East-West traffic axes, enhancing the exchange of goods and services between localities, expanding development space, and promoting economic development; focuses on developing the traffic network connecting industrial parks, clusters, and border economic zones of the province with airports, seaports, Ring Roads 3 and 4 of Ho Chi Minh City, effectively exploiting Long An International Port, etc; strengthens inter-regional and regional connectivity, especially connecting with Ho Chi Minh City.
Regarding breakthroughs, the province will focus on administrative reform; science, technology, innovation, digital transformation; green transformation, associated with the development of high-quality human resources; mobilizing all resources to build infrastructure, especially synchronous and modern transport infrastructure, connecting dynamic development regions. These breakthroughs solve the bottlenecks of the province, expected to promote the economic development of the province in the coming time.
I believe that, with the high determination, great efforts, and drastic actions of the entire political system, the business community and the people, key projects, breakthroughs for the 2025-2030 term as well as the set goals for socio-economic development will definitely be completed, contributing to realizing the aspiration of Tay Ninh province./
