Tay Ninh approves planning area of 124,000 hectares for high-yield, high-quality rice
In order to improve productivity and quality of agricultural products, develop rice production in a modern and sustainable direction, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province has just issued a Decision approving the planning area for high-yield and high-quality rice cultivation in the province with a total area of 124,000 hectares, spread over many communes. This is considered an important step in the strategy of developing modern agriculture, meeting the needs of domestic and foreign markets.

According to the decision, the planning area for high-yield, high-quality rice cultivation in the province is concentrated in 39 communes and wards with a total existing specialized rice growing area of 214,975 hectares; of which, the approved area for high-yield rice cultivation accounts for 124,000 hectares.
Communes with large planning areas include Hung Dien (8,450 ha), Vinh Chau (8,600 ha), Thanh Phuoc (8,640 ha), Tan Hung (6,700 ha), and Nhon Hoa Lap (7,450 ha). These are localities with a long tradition of rice cultivation, favorable soil conditions, irrigation systems and climate.
The allocation of planning area is based on existing specialized rice-growing land, land quality, and the ability to apply high technology, aiming to centralize production, reduce dispersion, and improve economic efficiency for people.
The People's Committee of Tay Ninh province assigns specific tasks to all levels and sectors to strictly manage the planning area, publicize and widely notify the people and relevant organizations; implement policies to support and protect rice-growing land; and apply modern science and technology in production.

The approval of the planning area for high-yield and high-quality rice cultivation not only contributes to increasing the efficiency of agricultural production but also serves as a basis for Tay Ninh to build agricultural value chains, enhancing the competitiveness of rice grains in the domestic and export markets.
