The 22nd KOCHAM Charity Night raises more than 31 billion VND in cash and donated goods

On November 20, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (KOCHAM) organized the 22nd KOCHAM Charity Night 2025.

The event was attended by Kwon Tae Han, Acting Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City; leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee; representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; and leaders of several departments and sectors from Dong Nai and Tay Ninh provinces.

This annual event carries profound humanitarian significance, calling for the support and participation of the Korean business community in raising charitable funds to aid social welfare activities in Vietnam.

The 22nd KOCHAM Charity Night raised more than 31 billion VND in cash and donated goods. During the event, KOCHAM presented 2.25 billion VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Dong Nai and Tay Ninh, the Association of Korean Senior Citizens in Vietnam, and pediatric patients undergoing treatment at Children’s Hospital 2. Among these contributions, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh Province received 500 million VND in support.

The remaining funds will be allocated to support disadvantaged people, build charity houses, assist with post-disaster recovery efforts in Central Vietnam, provide scholarships for underprivileged students, offer Tet gifts, and implement various other humanitarian programs.
