Tay Ninh learns about Hydrogen production model in Japan

Tay Ninh delegation led by Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet visits the Hydrogen production process in Yamanashi, Japan

At the Komekurayama Hydro Energy Research Center, the delegation listened to an overview of the formation process, operating goals, and role of the center in the clean energy development strategy, aiming for carbon neutrality.

The center currently produces around 2,200 tons of hydrogen per year, contributing to a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions, while also supporting the stability of the electricity system and maximizing local renewable energy generation.

During the visit, the delegation discussed, exchanged experiences, learned about the operating model and technical solutions to study the possibility of application in Tay Ninh. This is also the content that the province is particularly interested in after the Obayashi Group signed a memorandum of understanding with Tay Ninh province at the Investment Promotion Conference in Tokyo on November 19, related to supporting businesses in industrial parks to switch to using hydrogen energy—one of the key technologies of the global green development trend. This working session is therefore of great significance, creating a basis for the province to soon implement cooperation contents.

After that, the delegation visited Châteraisé Company—the company holding the largest market share in confectionery in Japan, currently owning 5 stores in Vietnam and operating a factory in Tan Kim Industrial Park, Can Giuoc Commune, Tay Ninh Province. The company representative said that about 60% of input materials are being supplied from domestic sources.
