Putting products on the platform
Recently, many businesses and enterprises have boldly put their products on e-commerce platforms such as Alibaba.com, Lazada, Shopee, Sendo, Tiki, Voso, Postmart, and at the same time joined local platforms connected to the unified e-commerce platform of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Priority items are agricultural products, processed products, OCOP products and typical products of the province. This is an important step to help products reach consumers directly while enhancing brand reputation.
Tam lotus farm business (Tan Thanh commune) has sweet and sour lotus products promoted on e-commerce platforms of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Business owner Vo Van Tam shared that putting products on the platform not only helps expand the market but also requires the facility to standardize production processes, labels, images, and traceability information.
"This process is time-consuming but brings clear results, helping the product gain prestige and expand customers in many provinces, especially big cities," Mr. Tam said.

Similarly, Chanh Viet Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, which specializes in providing seedless limes and products made from limes, also recorded effectiveness thanks to e-commerce. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chanh Viet Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company Nguyen Van Hien said that participating in large e-commerce platforms helps the company reach new customers, enhance brand reputation, and increase sales in many provinces and cities. Product standardization and information transparency are important factors that help consumers identify genuine products, creating a competitive advantage compared to the traditional market.
Thanks to e-commerce, the province's high-tech agricultural products, from vegetables, tubers, fruits to processed products and OCOP products, are changing the way they approach the market. No longer dependent on traders, each product is identified by images, brand, and transparent production processes, meeting the needs of modern customers.

Implementing Decision No. 645, dated May 15, 2020 of the Prime Minister on the master plan for national e-commerce development in the period 2021-2025, the Provincial People's Committee has developed and implemented an e-commerce development plan for the period 2021-2025, in which it promotes support for enterprises to participate in famous platforms, prioritizing agricultural products, processed products, typical products, and OCOP products of the province.
Through e-commerce platforms, many products have improved in consumption and increased orders in many provinces and cities, even in foreign markets.
By the end of the third quarter of 2025, 35 enterprises in the province were supported to participate in international and domestic e-commerce platforms, 5 enterprises built standard websites, and 24 enterprises completed brand identity according to international standards.
In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade also supported enterprises, cooperatives and production facilities participating in the Long An province e-commerce platform (before the merger) to connect with the merged e-commerce platform of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (sanviet.vn). To date, there have been 76 booths with 312 products. This is considered an important factor to help products easily access the market and enhance their reputation in the digital environment.
Many cooperatives and production facilities have noted that selling on e-commerce platforms helps increase transparency, quality control and traceability. At the Viet Safe Vegetable Cooperative (Rach Kien commune), there are orders from digital platforms every day, customers have increased significantly, most from Ho Chi Minh City. Information on production processes, certifications and growing area codes are all displayed via QR codes, giving buyers more peace of mind.
Not only expanding the domestic market, e-commerce also helps Tay Ninh businesses reach international customers. Businesses processing cassava, dried fruits, or OCOP products have all begun to receive orders from other countries, helping to increase the value of agricultural products and at the same time affirming local brands in the international market.
Opening a new way to consume agricultural products
Under the impact of the digital economy, e-commerce is increasingly becoming an important distribution channel in agricultural product consumption. With cold logistics, electronic payments and traceability solutions, online transactions are more convenient than ever. The challenge is how farmers, cooperatives and enterprises can both standardize production and operate digital booths effectively, exploiting this large market.
Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Dinh Xuan emphasized, "The agricultural sector continues to support enterprises, cooperatives, and households to connect and consume agricultural products, link with supermarkets and large stores in and outside the province, and at the same time encourage the promotion of products on e-commerce platforms, focusing on key product groups and OCOP products of the province."
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Xuan said that effective consumption through digital platforms is only sustainable when the products meet standards. Therefore, the industry will focus on supporting production facilities to join in association, form large raw material areas, have growing area codes, and meet domestic and export requirements. When products meet standards and have full traceability, it becomes easier to put them on the market, have better selling prices, and gain more consumer trust.
Experts say that the prerequisite for high-tech agricultural products to effectively exploit e-commerce is to standardize production processes, have growing area codes, and meet traceability standards. This is an advantage of the group of high-tech products that are growing strongly in Tay Ninh.
The agriculture sector also plans to organize training courses on digital booth operation skills, online customer service, standardization of product images, and at the same time build an ecosystem for digital agricultural product consumption, logistics connection, payment, and promotion. The goal is that each cooperative has at least one product digitized on the e-commerce platform, each locality has a typical online agricultural product consumption model, and gradually forms a modern consumption network associated with digital commerce.
E-commerce is opening up great opportunities for Tay Ninh agricultural products to reach a larger market and develop more sustainably. When products are standardized, producers will boldly convert, management agencies will accompany, and e-commerce platforms will expand support, local agricultural products will have the opportunity to increase value, stabilize output, and affirm their brands.
This is not only a trend but has become an inevitable path of modern agriculture, especially with high-tech products - the pride of Tay Ninh today./.
