The owner of Hoang Long organic vegetable store - Nguyen Thi Thanh Tu (Ward 1, Tan An City), said: "Choosing organic products not only brings delicious meals but also protects the health of the whole family. Therefore, I always prioritize growing vegetables with organic fertilizers. Currently, my store provides many types of vegetables such as mustard greens, bok choy, water spinach, amaranth, lettuce, etc.  All vegetables are grown using organic methods, without using chemical fertilizers, stimulants, genetically modified varieties or pesticides".

The special thing at Hoang Long organic clean vegetable store is that the price is stable all year round, even during Tet. Each bag of vegetables costs 10,000 VND, making it easy for consumers to buy. This Tet holiday, the store offers many new products, including Japanese chives.

According to Ms. Thanh Tu, Japanese chives are crispy, sweet, and can be eaten from root to tip. In addition, for the convenience of customers, the store also prepares vegetable sets to go with hot pot including: Chinese broccoli, Chinese bok choy, spinach, Chinese chard, green mustard, etc.

These vegetables are not only suitable for hot pot but can also be processed into stir-fried and boiled dishes suitable for the vegetarian menu on Tet holiday. In recent years, consumers tend to choose organic pomelo to display during Tet, because of its sweet taste with no chemical residues.

Grasping the market demand, the Head of the Farmers' Association of Binh Trung 1 Hamlet, Nhon Thanh Trung Commune, Tan An City - Mai Thi Kim Phuong researched and learned techniques to choose the right time to harvest fruit for Tet.

Ms. Phuong shared: “This not only helps the gardener master the technique but also increases the value of the product, helps stabilize output, and increases profits. To ensure safety and health for consumers, I always focus on product quality.

My pomelo garden is grown organically, not using chemical fertilizers but using cow and chicken manure. I expect to supply the market with 4 tons of green-skin pomelo at 35,000 VND/kg this Tet.

From December 23 (Lunar calendar), the harvest will be gradually brought to the market. In particular, some "lucky" pomelos (with bumps or dents on the fruit) are considered unique and strange and will have a higher price because they are believed to bring good luck when displayed for Tet".

It is expected that this year, Ms. Mai Thi Kim Phuong (Nhon Thanh Trung commune, Tan An city) will supply the market with 4 tons of organic green-skin pomelos

According to Ms. Phuong, organic pomelos farming not only produces fruits with delicious flavors and is safe for consumers' health, but also contributes to improving the quality of the soil.

Thanks to the use of natural fertilizers such as cow manure, chicken manure and no chemicals, the soil becomes more fertile every year, maintaining its looseness and beneficial microorganisms, thereby contributing to environmental protection, creating a sustainable farming ecosystem, helping pomelo trees grow healthily, stabilizing productivity and fruit quality in the long term.
