12 solutions win Farmer's Technical Innovation Contest
On December 27, Vietnam Farmers' Association of Long An held a ceremony to summarize and award the 7th Farmer's Technical Innovation Contest, 2021-2022 period, and to launch the 8th Contest, 2023-2024 period.
Awarding certificates of merit to individuals with high achievements in the competition
The 7th Long An Farmers' Technical Innovation Contest, 2021-2022 period, attracts many farmers and agricultural enterprises to participate with many valuable solutions. The Organizing Committee received 58 innovative technical solutions for the contest in the fields of agricultural mechanization (32 solutions), agricultural production techniques (10 solutions), environment (5 solutions), processing and other fields (11 solutions).
The highlight of submitted solutions this time is their high applicability. Most of the solutions submitted to the competition have ideas derived from the reality and concerns of farmers in production. Most of the solutions after completion are applied to serve agricultural production and people's lives.
Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Farmers' Association, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest - Le Van Hung awards certificates of merit to 4 groups with excellent achievements in propagating, mobilizing and supporting individuals and organizations participating in the contest.
After the grading and awarding process, the organizing board of the contest selected 12 solutions for ranking and awarding, of which the first prize belonged to the automatic shrimp feeding machine of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Kha (Long An commune, Can Giuoc district); second prize for peanut seeding machine solution of Mr. Huynh Thanh Nam (Loc Giang commune, Duc Hoa district); two 3rd prizes for the solution of growing hydroponic vegetables in a net house combined with closed fish farming by Mr. Le Van Chinh (Thanh Hung commune, Kien Tuong town) and hydrolysed bean cake by Mr. Vo Van Hoa (Long Cang commune, Can Duoc district).
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 8 consolation and commendation prizes to 4 teams with outstanding achievements in propagating, mobilizing and supporting individuals and organizations participating in the contest. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 individuals. The Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Farmers Association presented certificates of merit to 8 individuals with the best achievements in the contest.
The 7th Farmer's Technical Innovation Contest, 2021-2022 period, will be deployed to all farmer member in the province, in order to promote the labor and creativity movement of farmers in the field of science - techniques, promoting the effective application of new technical solutions to production, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
