The Vietnam Association of Fine Arts coordinates the nationwide Associations of Art and Literature to organize regional art exhibitions to arouse and promote the creative potential of artists, members and collaborators in art; it facilitates art activities to develop widely, through fine artworks that reflect the values of fine traditional culture, socio-economic achievements of the region and the nation as well.
In the Mekong River Delta region, this 24th exhibition is hosted by Long An province. Thirteen provinces and cities including Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Hau Giang, An Giang, Kien Giang, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau and Can Tho city participate in the exhibition.

The exhibition displays works reflecting the diversity and vividness of images, people and the socio-economic development of Long An province in particular and the region in general; they have deep and artistic ideological contents.
