The Department of Industry and Trade has proactively implemented trade promotion programs to support businesses in promoting products and expanding domestic and foreign markets
With the orientation of increasing the value of agricultural products and sustainable development of the agricultural sector, Tay Ninh province is synchronously implementing many trade promotion solutions, supporting businesses and boosting the consumption of OCOP products.
The Department of Industry and Trade continues to promote its role in connecting markets, creating momentum for production, contributing to achieving the growth target of primary sector (agriculture, forestry, and fishery) reaching 4.3% or more in 2025.
From the beginning of the year, the Department has proactively implemented trade promotion programs to support businesses in promoting products and expanding domestic and foreign markets. With a post-merger trade promotion budget of 5.5 billion VND, in the first 9 months of 2025, the province has supported more than 760 businesses to participate in a series of fairs, exhibitions, trade connections, product display and promotion events.
These include the specialized exhibition on production and processing of vegetables, flowers and fruits in Vietnam; the 2025 Vietnam Export Goods Fair; the 5th Ho Chi Minh City and Friendship Provinces and Cities Exhibition in Savannakhet (Laos); the 4th Ho Chi Minh City International Food Industry Exhibition; the Vietnam ASEAN 2025 International Furniture and Handicraft Export Fair; the International Supply Chain Connection Exhibition—Vietnam Sourcing 2025; and the "Green Food Train" event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.
In particular, the Department of Industry and Trade has advised on organizing the 3rd Conference on connecting the supply chain of goods, import and export, and e-commerce in the province, attracted more than 140 foreign enterprises from 25 countries and territories. In addition, the Department coordinated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize the Conference on connecting Production-Distribution and Logistics Enterprises between Vietnam and Cambodia. Through direct connection with many enterprises, they have made notes, learned, and promoted products to foreign partners.
These activities not only help expand the export market but also create many new supply chains, enhance the value and competitiveness of local goods, and help the province's products spread further and more sustainably.
According to Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Chau Thi Le, the Department focuses on supporting enterprises to improve machinery, technological equipment, and showrooms to promote products from industrial promotion programs.
In particular, in 2025, Tay Ninh is expected to support 5.5 billion VND for more than 35 rural industrial establishments to invest in machinery, equipment, and innovate production lines and build showrooms to promote products, focusing on organizing the "Exhibition Fair of typical rural industrial products in the Southern region in Tay Ninh in 2025" held in October 2025 as part of the series of events of the Tay Ninh Industry and Trade sector in 2025.
This is an important occasion for rural enterprises to introduce products, connect consumption, and cooperate in investment.
In the field of e-commerce, it is expected that in 2025, 2.1 billion VND will be spent to support enterprises to enter the province's e-commerce platform, trace origin, and apply digital transformation in business.
Director of the Muoi Hai Safe Vegetable Cooperative (Rach Kien Commune) Le Van Giay said: “Previously, the cooperative's products were mainly sold at traditional markets, and we were often forced to lower prices. Since participating in sales through e-commerce platforms, the cooperative's revenue has increased by nearly 30%. Customers in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province regularly place orders. We clearly see the potential for development, but we also need more support in online sales skills, especially livestreaming."
Along with that, the program "Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese products" continues to be promoted through supporting 3 OCOP product sales points in Duc Hue, Tan Thanh and Can Giuoc, with a budget of about 500 million VND. These "Vietnamese booths" not only help people easily access quality local products but also serve as an effective channel to promote the province's brand.
According to Ms. Chau Thi Le, the Department of Industry and Trade continues to synchronously implement trade promotion, e-commerce and industrial promotion programs to promote the consumption of agricultural products, typical products, and OCOP products of the province; strengthens state management activities, facilitates businesses to develop production, business, and circulation of goods domestically; strictly handles violations, creates a healthy and favorable competitive environment for businesses to develop.
In October 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade advised the Provincial People's Committee to organize the 2025 Southern - Tay Ninh Typical Rural Industrial Products Exhibition Fair; support OCOP products of the province on TikTok Shop. It is expected that in November 2025, Tay Ninh will organize a Cashless Payment Fair combined with livestream and training to support the introduction and promotion of OCOP products to consumers.
In addition, the province continues to support product exhibitions and sales points, from the capital source of the National Target Program on New Rural Development.
The determination and synchronous participation of all levels and sectors will create an important premise for the province to continue to make a strong breakthrough in the coming period./.
