According to Colonel Pham Phu Phuoc - Commander of the Long An Border Guards, implementing the signed agreements in recent years, the solidarity relationship between the parties has been increasingly strengthened, developed and cooperated effectively in many fields; especially coordinating to safeguard the system of landmarks and border signs, proactively resolving unexpected incidents, ensuring political security, social order and safety in the border areas, creating favorable conditions for people from both sides to visit and exchange goods, medical examination and treatment, actively contributing to building the border of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.

Promoting the achieved results, the two sides agreed on the coordination work next time. In particular, it is necessary to coordinate more closely in the prevention and combat of all kinds of crimes, especially robbery, armed robbery, trafficking in women and children, drug trafficking, counterfeit money, conspiracy of hostile forces, terrorist activity; actively cooperate with the armed forces of Prey Veng province in border protection and effective prevention and fight against crimes, handling and resolving cases involving the two sides of the border right from the base.
