Exhibitions to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday held nationwide

Various activities are being held throughout Vietnam to celebrate the 128th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh, the founder of modern Vietnam.

An exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh in Thai Nguyen province

In the northern province of Thai Nguyen, the provincial museum opened an exhibition at a local school on May 15, to honour President Ho Chi Minh as a hero of national liberation and a great man of culture.

Numerous photos and documents are on display including a collection of stamps from around the world bearing the portrait of the Vietnamese leaders, as well as covers of his Prison Diary in various languages and his testament.

In the northern province of Hai Duong, an exhibition on the movement to study and follow the thought, ethics, and style of President Ho Chi Minh is being jointly held by the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the management of the Pac Bo Historical Site.

The exhibition features many of the leader’s documents and autographs, aimed at encouraging Party members, officials and people to follow his example.

Meanwhile in the southern province of Ben Tre, a ceremony was held on May 15, to honour outstanding individuals and organisations in the movement to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s though, ethics and style./.
