Gov’t issues regulations on additives for food safety
Additives must be assessed for safety before they can be used in food. As per the regulation, business of food additive must meet requirement of food safety including mixing legal additives to have nontoxic products for human health.
In case that businesses make new products, they have to prove the use of the new product. Moreover, businesses must write who can use the product with clear indication of how much a person should take.
Moreover, pouring and dividing additives must be performed in legal businesses with clear indication outside the product as per the present law.
The new regulation also says new additives with new use must be registered in the Ministry of Health. Business must write individual ingredients in the new additives.
The government also regulates no people are allowed to overuse additives whose origin , expiry date are clear./.
