Groundbreaking to construct the bidding package No.5 of the Tan An City ring road

Bidding package No.5 includes Bao Dinh bridge and 2 roads leading to the bridge in An Vinh Ngai commune, Tan Khanh ward, Tan An city. This work is invested by the Department of Transport; contractor joint venture consists of 622 Company Limited and Song Lam Company Limited.

According to the investor's representative, this package has a total length of over 740 meters, including two paths and bridges, and the road surface is covered with hot asphalt concrete. Particularly, the bridge is built of reinforced concrete with the load HL93, the surface width is 21 meters. The total construction cost is over 143 billion VND.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan An city - Le Cong Dinh said that the Tan An City Ring Road project is a key project of the Resolution of the Xth Provincial Party Congress and the XIth Provincial Party Congress. The work is more than 23 kilometers long, 33 meters wide road surface (including road surface and corridor). In which, the section passing through Tan An city is over 19 kilometers; the first point intersects with My Phu intersection (My Phu commune, Thu Thua district), the endpoint is at the intersection of National Highway 1 - Provincial Road 833, Tan An City.

The project passes through My Phu commune (Thu Thua district) and Loi Binh Nhon, An Vinh Ngai, Binh Tam, Nhon Thanh Trung, Khanh Hau, Tan Khanh wards, ward 7, ward 5 of Tan An city.

The Ring Road project is divided into many component projects and many bidding packages for implementation. In which, the section from National Highway 1 to Provincial Road 827A is divided into 6 construction packages (including 4 road bidding packages, 1 Bao Dinh bridge bidding package and 1 lighting bidding package), under the management of the Management Board. Project Management of Traffic Works (Department of Transport). Up to now, package 4 (the section from National Highway 1 to Pham Van Ngo Street in Tan Khanh ward, over 1.4 kilometers long, 33 meters wide), was started on October 7, 2019.
