Investment environment advertisement promoted Long An’s images on media
Recently, Long An has promoted many forms of propaganda to introduce potentials and strengths, advertise the image of Long An province, attract investment, and contribute to socio-economic development. Thereby, it creates opportunities for international organizations, investors, domestic and foreign enterprises, enterprises in the province to meet, exchange, connect, provide investors with information, list of project items calling for investment attraction of the province.
Investment promotion in the new situation
In the development strategy, Long An has planned three distinct regions. In which, region 1 is oriented to develop a food security zone, develop hi-tech agriculture, eco-tourism and border gate economy. This is an area to ensure food security and provide raw materials for the development of the processing industry.
Zone 2 is an ecological buffer zone between zone 2 and zone 3, surrounded by two rivers Vam Co Dong and Vam Co Tay, oriented to develop renewable energy projects and riverside eco-urban areas.
Region 3 includes districts adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City which are planned to develop satellite towns and industrial parks and clusters (IPs, ICs). It is the zoning for economic development that the economic structure of the province in recent years is shifting in the right direction.

With a clear development orientation, over the years, Long An has successfully transformed into industry, commerce and services. Currently, in the economic structure, the proportion of industry accounts for over 52 percent, the trade-service sector accounts for 32.5 percent, for the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector, the province will develop according to hi-tech agriculture.
According to the vision, Long An has many opportunities for development in all 3 fields of industry, trade - service and agriculture. Thanks to the advantage of geographical location, Long An has an increasingly perfect socio-economic infrastructure, an abundant and well-trained workforce. Besides, Long An is a dynamic locality with an open and attractive investment environment, the government always upholds the spirit of market demand and actively supports investors. This is a competitive advantage that helps the province to attract more investment sources with the desire that Long An will have a further breakthrough development, become a province with strong potential, develop quickly and sustainably, and soon become a modern industry province.
In order for Long An to become a bright spot to attract investors, for many years, the province has actively coordinated with ministries, central agencies, newspapers, magazines, and television stations to compile and distribute public documents. Investment promotion, advertising and information provision for investors and businesses in many forms.
In which, the province focuses on coordinating with many central press agencies, in Ho Chi Minh City, local resident agencies, newspapers, and local television stations to build a video clip "Strong potential to attract investment, key large projects of the province"; organize many thematic articles on improving the efficiency of investment promotion, improving the investment and business environment, etc.
The Department of Planning and Investment, the Center for Investment Promotion and Support also built more social networking sites such as Facebook and Zalo pages to provide information about the province's investment environment in the fields of transport, land, domestic investment, foreign investment; sectors, investment calling lists and other relevant information, so on creating favorable conditions for investors to find out information, assist in solving difficulties and solve all problems related to investment in Long An quickly, conveniently, safely and efficiently.

Through the receptions, surveys and working sessions of Japanese organizations and enterprises, the Korea International Cooperation Agency, and Korean enterprises at IPs, ICs in the locality, key projects aimed at understanding the investment environment of the province; as well as organizing working sessions and conferences, especially the Seminar on orientation for developing hi-tech economic zones (April 19, 2021) with the participation of representatives of large corporations from Korea, United States, Germany.
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee is coordinating with investment promotion organizations to strengthen investment promotion and advertising activities through domestic and foreign press channels and television stations, it thereby opens many new prospects, increasing awareness of Long An's investment environment and competitive advantages in the international market.

Long An is planned to have 35 IPs with an area of 11,954.79 hectares, which has been included in the planning of Vietnam's IPs. The province currently has 22 IPs eligible to receive investment, with a total area of 5,067.67 hectares with more than 500 hectares of industrial land available for lease.
Along with that, the province planned 63 ICs with an area of 3,367 hectares (22 ICs have been put into operation with an area of 1,343 hectares). With the advantage of geographical location, available potential, the same determination to always improve the investment environment, reform, shorten the time to solve administrative procedures for people and businesses; reviewing, abolishing, amending policies that are no longer suitable and unattractive, applying open policies, in accordance with commitments and principles of international integration, Long An is ready to become a ideal destination for domestic and foreign investors.
In addition to industrial development, Long An also promotes inviting and attracting investors to explore business cooperation opportunities and attract tourists. Before the serious impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the province's tourism industry was almost stagnant, tourism promotion activities also faced many difficulties.
Implementing the policy of the Provincial People's Committee, the province's tourism industry step by step brings the image of Long An tourism through the "Smart Tourism Portal and Mobile Application". This application provides information about tourist destinations, accommodation, meals, so on when they come to Long An, forming a tourism ecosystem and creating mutual benefits between 3 objects: Tourists, State and enterprises. The tourism industry is also collecting images and documents for "Long An Reststop" to provide to the network of tourist cities in the Asia-Pacific region, in order to advertise the provincial tourism images to international friends.
The Department of Information and Communications cooperates with newspapers and radio stations outside the province, the Voice of Vietnam Radio channel VOVTV, the foreign television channel, magazines and websites of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to advertise and promote tourism. In addition, taking advantage of social networks, accounts "Long An Tourism" are also deployed and operated on both Facebook and Zalo.
