The provincial Center for Disease Control receives 21,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine from the Ministry of Health

Currently, the provincial Center for Disease Control has received 21,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine - UK from the Ministry of Health. These vaccines are being stored in cold storage at 2-8 degree Celsius in accordance with regulations. This number of vaccines will be distributed to districts, town and city according to regulations, ready for vaccination.

In this phase, the second injection is expected to be given to frontline forces against the epidemic who received the injection in the second phase. As planned, the injection time is from July 20 to 30.

It is known that this is the 4th phase of vaccination in the province. Previously, Long An had deployed 3 injections with 51,130 vaccine doses, of which 50,125 people received the first dose and 1,005 people received 2 doses.

In addition to the plan to implement the 4th phase of vaccination, the Department of Health also develops a plan and prepares adequate resources to administer the vaccine on a large scale of 200,000 doses and 400,000 doses in a short time, making efforts to gradually create community immunity among people./.
