Long An awards over 400 scholarships to needy students
The Study Encouragement Society of Long An Province has cooperated with the provincial Department of Education and Training and Dong Tam Group to grant 408 scholarships to disadvantaged students in the province on January 28.

Attending at the event were former State President Truong Tan Sang, chairman of the People’s Committee of Long An province Tran Van Can, deputy chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phan Van Canh and Chairman of Dong Tam Group Vo Quoc Thang.
The endowments, including 405 scholarships worth VND2 million and three scholarships worth VND5 million of each, were sponsored by Dong Tam Group. The selected students are from remote and disadvantaged areas in the province.
On this occasion, Dong Tam group signed an agreement with the provincial Study Encouragement Society to grant scholarships in 2018, 2019 and 2020 with a total capital of VND3 billion./.
