Long An Health Department checks prevention of 2019-nCoV epidemic
On February 7, Deputy Director of Long An Department of Health - Vo Van Thang checked and supervised the preparation for prevention and control of the acute respiratory disease caused by the new strain of novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) at health facilities in Kien Tuong town and Moc Hoa district.

Accordingly, Dong Thap Muoi Regional General Hospital has implemented epidemic prevention to all departments; prepared reception and quarantine areas to monitor cases of infection; fully equipped medical supplies; established 24-hour emergency hotline.
The Moc Hoa District Health Center has developed plans to cope with each disease situation; set up rapid response teams; trained the guiding procedures of the Ministry of Health; ensured materials and equipment for epidemic prevention and control; treated the environment and medical waste in accordance with the instructions; etc.
