Accordingly, implementing the socio-economic development plan in 2022, the Provincial People's Committee set out some key economic tasks: The Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) (compared to prices in 2010) reached 6.5 - 7.0 percent. GRDP per capita in 2022 will reach 85-90 million VND. The ratio of social investment capital to GRDP is on average 31 - 33 percent. Rice production in 2022 will reach 2.75 million tons; in which the output of high quality rice reaches 60 percent of the total output. The rate of increase in state budget revenue in 2022 will increase by 12 percent compared to 2021. The proportion of development investment spending in the total budget expenditure is higher than in 2021.
About Society: There will be 11 more communes meeting new-style rural standards in 2022. The 08 more communes meeting the advanced new-style rural standards. The percentage of communes meeting the criteria of culture and new-style rural is over 71.4 percent. The rate of schools meeting national standards is 53.5 percent. The proportion of people participating in health insurance is 92 percent. Number of doctors/ten thousand people: 8.7 doctors. The rate of stunting malnutrition (height for age) in children under 5 years old reached 17.8 percent. Rate of trained workers 73 percent; in which there are degrees, certificates 32 percent. The number of poor households is reduced by 15 percent according to the new criteria compared to the beginning of 2022. The percentage of households using electricity in the province is 99.97 percent.
About the environment: The percentage of rural households using clean water reaches 58 percent. The rate of waste collection and treatment in the province in 2022 will reach 100 percent in urban areas and 70 percent in rural areas. The percentage of operating industrial parks and clusters with centralized wastewater treatment systems is 98 percent.
At the conference, representatives of departments, branches and localities gathered together to discuss and propose solutions to complete the socio-economic development plan in 2022.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut acknowledged the efforts of departments, branches and localities in the implementation of "dual goals" over the past year. In particular, the highlight work was investment attraction, budget collection, basic construction and disease prevention and control.
He said that 2022 is an important year in the implementation of the targets of the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels for the period of 2021 - 2025. Therefore, it is required that departments, branches and localities continue to make efforts with high determination in leadership, direction, initiative and creativity, mobilizing all resources, striving to accomplish the highest goals and tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security from the beginning of the year.
At the same time, the province continues to implement the goal of both prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, recovery and socio-economic development, and promotion of economic restructuring. It accelerates the rate of booster vaccination for people, reduces the mortality rate to less than 2 percent.
The province accelerates the implementation of works and projects, accelerates the restructuring of the agricultural sector, applies high technology, prevents and controls diseases on livestock and poultry, organizes production cooperation with the value chain, promotes the application of information technology in management and administration, focusing on digital transformation, etc./.
