Currently, the number of received vaccines is stored at a warehouse in Duc Hoa district. The Long An Center for Disease Control will deploy injections for people according to the province's general campaign, giving priority to "red-zone" districts, high-risk areas and gradually expanding to "green-zone" localities.

Of these 500,000 doses, half will inject dose 1 and the other half will be used to inject dose 2. Right in the afternoon of August 31, some localities such as Ben Luc, Tan Thanh, Thanh Hoa, and so on received the vaccine and progressed to inject people immediately according to the plan.

Vaccination is one of the three "frontal attacks" to prevent and control the province's Covid-19 epidemic. Up to now, Long An has focused all its efforts on speeding up the vaccination schedule. As of August 30, the province has administered a vaccine against Covid-19 with 806,461 shots, including 753,914 first shots and 52,547 second shots.

Vero Cell is one of six Covid-19 vaccines licensed for use in Vietnam by the Ministry of Health. Facing the complicated epidemic situation, vaccine injection against Covid-19 is not only people’s own right but also each their obligation and responsibility to the community. Therefore, they should not be picky, delay, skip the golden time and lose the opportunity to vaccinate to protect their health against the risk of disease./.
