Long An is to vaccinate Covid-19, phase 2 of 2021, in the province from May 4 and complete before May 15.

The vaccine allocated for use is produced by the AstraZeneca Group. The whole province is to deploy 31 vaccination injection sites, including 24 public vaccination injection sites and 7 private ones.

People are implemented the order of priority according to the Government's Resolution No. 21/NQ-CP of February 26, 2021 on the purchase and use of Covid-19 vaccine.

Because the Border Guard forces of 6 border districts were injected by Hospital 7A in April 2021, in this second phase, group 1 injections would be performed with a total of 23,695 people expected.

The whole province plans to carry out the campaign of vaccination against Covid-19 from May 4 and complete before May 15

The goal of the campaign is that over 95 percent of those in the priority group for the second round of vaccination will get the 1st shot in the campaign; 100 percent of health workers who got the first shot received the second shot in the campaign; ensure vaccination safety when using Covid-19 vaccine.

It is known that the funding for this vaccination is over 12.3 billion VND./.
