Long An: Labour demand to rise in March

According to Long An Center for Employment Services, local businesses have planned to recruit around 12.050 labours in March.

In February, 120 businesses in industrial clusters in Ben Luc, Duc Hoa, Can Giuoc, Can Duoc, Thu Thua Districts and Tan An City, recruited 11.366 labours, said the center representative.

Statistics also show that the percentage of manual workers in Long An is 58 percent, vocational workers are 36 percent while workers with college degrees account for 4,5 percent and only 2 percent of university degree workers.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Son, Director of Long An Employment and Careers Center said that there is increasing demand for employees in different fields including manual work (54 percent), textile and garments (31 percent), automotive and mechanical engineering (3 percent), electronics and automation (3 percent) and sales, marketing (1,4 percent),.../.
