Long An: Over 146.6 billion VND paid to support package for 3 groups under Resolution 42/NQ-CP
On April 29, localities in Long An province held payment for the support package under the Government's Resolution No. 42/NQ-CP dated April 9, 2020, on measures to support people meeting with difficulties caused by a Covid-19 pandemic for 3 groups including poor and near-poor households; revolution-deserving people receiving monthly preferential allowances; and social protection beneficiaries receiving the monthly social allowance.
Giving support money to needy people in Can Duoc district
According to the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, through the review, until April 28, Long An has 14,390 revolution-deserving people receiving monthly preferential allowances; 54,771 people from poor and near-poor households; 56,459 social protection people receiving monthly social benefits. The total funding for the 3 above groups is over 146.6 billion VND.

Following Resolution 42/NQ-CP, poor and near-poor households are supported with 250,000 VND per person per month, in 3 months, from April to June 2020 and paid once; revolution-deserving people receiving monthly preferential allowances are additionally supported with an additional 500,000 VND per person per month, in 3 months from April to June 2020 and paid once; social protection people receiving monthly social allowance are additionally supported with 500,000 VND per person per month, in 3 months from April to June 2020 and paid once.
On April 29, Long An completely paid a basic support package for 3 groups. At the payment, people received support to express their joy and emotion thank to the interest and sharing of the Party, the State and the authorities at all levels./.
