Many changes in revision

The exam questions in the High School Graduation Exam from 2025, according to the 2018 General Education Program have many changes compared to before (according to the 2006 General Education Program). These questions not only test knowledge but also aim to assess the ability to apply knowledge into practice.

The exam will have many questions built from real-life situations, helping candidates clearly see the connection between the knowledge learned and the world around them. Facing these changes, high schools in the province have also innovated in reviewing and consolidating knowledge for 12th grade students, meeting the new requirements of this year's exam.

Duc Hue High School (Duc Hue district) arranges 12th graders according to their optional exam subjects from the beginning of the year. The school also accelerated revision for students from the beginning of the school year and made changes in the second semester when implementing Circular No. 29 on extra teaching and learning. Promoting students' self-study spirit

Review time is only 2 periods/week/subject, while the exam has many innovations, in the direction of assessing the practical application capacity of the candidate. Therefore, in addition to the effort to review the core, concise content, teachers also pay attention to promoting students' self-study spirit. This is also an effective solution to help students grasp knowledge more firmly.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan informed: “I guide students to effectively manage their study time, spend time studying at home; motivate and encourage students to maintain a spirit of enthusiastic and confident learning; remind students that reviewing for exams is a process, do not be discouraged when encountering difficulties. I also guide students to use memorization techniques such as studying according to mind maps, dividing knowledge into easy-to-remember parts for more effective self-study. I encourage students to use online learning materials, review online; assign homework tasks specifically on content, multiple-choice questions of all types and check, remind, and comment on students' learning situation”.

Students strive to promote the spirit of self-study, determined to achieve high results in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam

Students need to have a firm grasp of knowledge and skills to approach new formats (true or false, short answers). Therefore, I carefully guide them on the formulas to do exercises and how to write results according to the requirements of the exam, from there they can practice more at home to have a firm grasp of knowledge and be fluent in the types of exercises according to the exam structure.”
