Speaking at the seminar, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc emphasized that the Long An government and people are very interested in building and developing cooperative relationships with Korean localities in many fields on the basis of the good relationship between Vietnam - Korea over the years, especially bilateral economic cooperation. Long An has strengthened investment and trade promotion activities in Korea.
The effectiveness of the above mentioned activities is reflected in the inflow of FDI from Korea to Long An province, providing opportunities for investment cooperation as more and more Korean enterprises continue to expand their investment scale and effective in Long An. Provincial leaders affirmed that they always welcomed investors to come to Long An and get rich on the way of investment and business in accordance with the law of Vietnam.
Currently, Korea is the second largest investor in nearly 40 countries and territories investing in Long An with 204 operating projects, total registered capital of over 818 million USD.

Currently, FDI inflows rapidly increase into Long An, it will be the center of the southern key economic region.
