Long An Tax Department officially opens E-invoice Deployment Center

On April 1, Long An Tax Department officially opened an operation center to deploy e-invoices for more than 17,000 businesses in the province.

The E-invoice Deployment Center is located at the provincial Tax Department. The center is responsible for monitoring and coordinating functional departments, district and regional Tax Sub-Departments to implement for taxpayers regulations on the implementation of e-invoices in the province. It also receives and processes requests from Tax Sub-Departments, taxpayers and related units via phone, email, hotline to support the implementation of e-invoices, the implementation of an interactive channel between the Tax Department and Tax Sub-Departments.

The center is on duty 24/24h to receive and promptly support and handle requests arising in the process of implementing e-invoices of taxpayers; monitor the operation of the e-invoice system continuously and stably; etc.

According to the Director of the Provincial Tax Department - Nguyen Van Thuy, the conversion of e-invoices to people and businesses is a very important content for national digital transformation and modernization in tax administration.

Implementing e- invoices brings benefits to the business community, tax authorities and society. For businesses, e-invoices help reduce financial, human and time costs. Taxpayers can register to create and issue e-invoices 24/24 to help businesses protect their brands and prevent counterfeiting of invoices.

In addition, e-invoices also helps protect consumers' interests and makes tax management more effective. The Tax sector and intermediary solution providers strive to be well-prepared and ready to receive, support and solve difficulties for the business community quickly.

By April 30, Long An Tax Department strives to have over 80 percent of operating businesses and economic organizations in the cases that must register to use e-invoices. By May 31, 100 percent of operating businesses and economic organizations will be required to register for the use of e-invoices according to Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP and Circular No. 78/TT-BTC./.
