Total domestic revenue reaches 8,445 billion VND in the province in the first 6 months of 2021 

According to the leader of the Long An Tax Department, in 2021, the Ministry of Finance assigned the ordinance target of total domestic revenue in the province of 12,169.7 billion VND, of which is 1,600 billion VND.

On the basis of analyzing and assessing the growth of the economy and enterprises in the area, the Tax Department actively coordinated with the Department of Finance to advise the Provincial People's Council - People's Committee to assign local ordinance estimates is 12,583 billion VND, up 3.4 percent compared to the central estimate (12,169.7 billion VND), corresponding to an absolute increase of 413.3 billion VND. The provincial People's Committee is expected to allocate 16,722.266 billion VND, of which the land use levy are 3,761.6 billion VND (except for the lottery ticket fund and the land use levy of 11,210.666 billion VND).

The implementation of tax duties in the first 6 months of 2021 takes place in the context of many difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, seriously affecting social life, business and production activities from taxpayers.

However, under the close and effective leadership of the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation and of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee; close coordination of departments and People's Committees at all levels; The efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges of enterprises and the determination of the whole tax industry, tax work tasks in the first 6 months of 2021 achieved important results.

Total domestic revenue in the first 6 months of 2021 in the province reached 8,445 billion VND, reaching 69.4 percent of the central estimate, reaching 67.1 percent  of the local estimate, equaling 121.8 percent  over the same period in 2020.

If subtracting the revenue from lottery ticket fund and land use levy, the total domestic revenue in the first 6 months of 2021 is 5,644 billion VND, reaching 61.7 percent  of the central estimate, reaching 60.1 percent  of the local estimate, reaching 50.3 percent  of the strived estimate, equaling 119.1 percent  over the same period.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Minh Lam requested that the Tax sector strived to overcome the current difficulties in the remaining months of 2021, ensured the completion and exceeded the State budget revenue estimate in 2021 that Central and province have assigned.

Localities with low, unsustainable revenue and high tax debt should ask local Party committees to regularly step in to find out the causes and propose solutions to boost budget collection and ensure good implementation in tax collection and outstanding debt in the last 6 months of 2021.

Collect correctly, sufficiently and promptly into the State budget, especially large revenues, at the same time it is necessary to nurture revenue sources and exploit more potential revenue sources.
