Provincial People's Council approves Resolution on purchasing and using Covid-19 vaccine
The Long An People's Council officially passed the resolution on purchasing and using the Covid-19 vaccine in Long An province.
On March 30, the provincial People's Council members voted to pass a Resolution on purchasing and using the Covid-19 vaccine in Long An province at the rate of 100 percent.
Accordingly, on the basis of the submission of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Council decided to unanimously approve the purchase and use of Covid-19 vaccine in Long An province.

Accordingly, it is expected that the need for vaccines for 18-year-old people or older in accordance with Article 1 of the Government's Resolution No. 21/NQ-CP of February 26, 2021 includes 1,280,575 people.
In which, subjects are given priority and free injection is 300,424 people, the rest are 980,151 people. The number of vaccines is 2,817,280 doses, people are given priority and free of charge is 660,940 doses, and the remaining people are 2,156,340 doses.
Fund of vaccines for priority and free vaccines is expected to be over 126 billion VND (including fund for vaccines and fees for preservation, transportation, etc.). Fund sources are from the State budget and from aid, grants and supports of domestic and foreign organizations and individuals and other lawful capital sources.
For the fund for the remaining people, it is expected that the budget of over 582 billion VND is taken from aid, sponsorship and support from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals, other legal sources and sources voluntarily paid by organizations and individuals using vaccines.
The vaccines price has increased or decreased according to the announcement of the Ministry of Health, then the fund for purchasing vaccines will be adjusted accordingly.
It is expected to implement in 2021 and 2022, the injection schedule will comply with the specific guidance of the Ministry of Health./.
