Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc informs the delegation about the socio-economic situation of the province

Kyodo Sojitz Animal Feed Co., Ltd belongs to Sojitz Group. This group was established in 2003 on the basis of the merger of Nissho Iwai and Nichimen Groups, operating mainly in the field of trade and investment. Currently, the Sojitz Group has about 350 subsidiaries and 140 joint venture companies with nearly 20,000 employees worldwide.

Sojitz Group is also one of the first Japanese enterprises to invest in the Vietnamese market. Currently, Sojitz has nearly 20 joint venture companies in Vietnam with revenue of about 1 billion USD in the fields of equipment(ITC, power plants, motorcycle parts), energy (gas and coal), chemicals ( storage, plastic, rare-earth element);etc.

In Long An province, Sojitz has 2 joint venture companies, namely Kyodo Sojitz Animal Feed Company (Luong Binh Commune, Ben Luc District) and Dat Moi Viet Nhat Long An (Huu Thanh Commune, Duc Hoa District).

Speaking at the meeting, General Director of Kyodo Sojitz Feed Company - Inoue Koji said that the purpose of the visit and greeting with leaders of Long An province this time was to introduce Mr. Harada Shohei as Assistant of General Manager, who is completing procedures to replace Mr. Inoue Koji. Mr. Inoue Koji also informed about the production situation and some current difficulties of the company. He hoped that the provincial leaders would support to remove and create favorable conditions for the company to continue to expand operations in the province.
