Facing the complicated and unpredictable epidemic situation, the risk of epidemics spreading from other localities, Long An has strengthened to control people and vehicles entering the province. Accordingly, from 0:00 on July 13, 2021, Long An province will strictly control all vehicles and people traveling between Long An province and neighboring provinces with Long An province, except for special cases for official reasons, the cases of providing food, foodstuffs, necessary necessities, vehicles transporting production materials, etc. and other activities according to the coordinated plan or announced by the People's Committee of the provinces and cities.

Currently, Long An has 6 checkpoints for Covid-19 prevention and control established by the province; 58 established by the districts.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Duoc graciously visited the working conditions of on-duty officials, soldiers, medical staff and volunteers days and nights at the checkpoints. He also recognized and praised the checkpoints for synchronous and rhythmic implementation in the control of people crossing the border with the province. The checkpoints need to carefully check the vehicles, pay attention not to cause traffic jams at the checkpoints, especially at the highway intersections.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also suggested that localities and functional branches pay more attention to the on-duty forces at the checkpoints to ensure health in working conditions day and night. He hoped that the on-duty forces at the checkpoints would continue to promote their sense of responsibility, successfully complete their tasks, and contribute to the province to join hands in fighting the epidemic./.
