On June 22, Politburo member and Standing Deputy Prime Minister - Truong Hoa Binh and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Long An province - Truong Van No visited BCG - CME Long An 1 Solar power plant (in Thanh An commune, Thanh Hoa district, Long An province).

Standing Deputy Prime Minister - Truong Hoa Binh highly appreciated the efforts of investors in completing items of the project on schedule. He expressed his pleasure when Long An province received a renewable energy project, especially the solar energy project of Bang Duong BCG Energy Joint Stock Company.
He believed that this is an important milestone in the new energy development program of Long An province in particular, a prerequisite for developing many solar power plants across the country in general.

The BCG - CME Solar power plant project was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade with a capacity of 40.6 MW, covering a total area of 50.2 hectares. BCG Bang Duong Energy Joint Stock Company (BCG Bang Duong) - a member company under Bamboo Capital Group (BCG) is the investor of this project with a total investment of USD 42 million.
In addition to the BCG Bang Duong project, BCG is also investing in 2 other solar projects in Long An: The GAIA project with the capacity of 100MW and the Sunflower project with the capacity of 50MW.
BCG - CME Long An 1 Solar power plant is inaugurated on June 23. The factory aims to achieve a total electricity output of about 60 million kWh per year. The clean electricity output will contribute to increase capacity for the national grid, said the Chairman of BCG Company - Nguyen Ho Nam.
