“Fresh water for border area” works put into use
The Provincial Border Guard Head, quarters collaborated with Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) in Ho Chi Minh City, Long An province to inaugurate and put into use “Fresh water for border area” works at Song Trang Border Guard Post (Song Trang hamlet, Hung Ha commune, Tan Hung district).
The works aim to supply clean water to the officials, soldiers in Song Trang Border Guard Post and over 70 households in Song Trang hamlet with total investment of VND850 million. Of these, VFF and Border Guard Head, quarters in Ho Chi Minh city funded VND500 million, the rest was from the provincial budget.
The works consist a deep layer bored well, with total capacity of 240 cubic meter per day, and 1700 meters of water pipe network./.
