Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development - Nguyen Thanh Truyen informed that this year, the agricultural sector aims to achieve a growth rate of 3-3.5%. Accordingly, the sector continues to deploy and implement the Program for Developing High-Tech Agriculture in conjunction with restructuring the agricultural sector in the period 2021-2025; the Project for Sustainable Development of 1 million hectares of high-quality and low-emission rice cultivation associated with green growth in the Mekong Delta by 2030; and promote the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Development. The sector continues to restructure crops and livestock reasonably and effectively; closely monitors the shrimp farming situation in the lower districts; strengthens measures to prevent and control diseases in farmed shrimp, protects aquatic resources; etc.

According to Director of the Department of Planning and Investment - Truong Van Liep, the Department closely monitors and manages the public investment plan in 2025, ensuring the disbursement of all capital plans assigned; regularly supervises and urges the implementation of investors, promptly advises the Provincial People's Committee to remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process. The Department focuses on mobilizing and effectively using all resources from economic sectors to work with the state budget to implement key projects, projects under the program of mobilizing all resources, etc.

The Department also urges to accelerate the progress of infrastructure investment, striving to put more industrial clusters into operation; timely removing difficulties and obstacles for enterprises in industrial clusters, etc.
