Business household Tran Phuoc Thanh produced alcohol for many years and provided to the market in Tan Hung district, neighboring districts and Ho Chi Minh city. The wine product with Phat Dat trademark was voted as the typical district-level rural industrial product in 2017.

Previously, Mr. Thanh's wine was mainly produced traditionally and experientially, so its productivity was low and he did not meet the quality standards as aldehyde content in alcohol was high well as.

It was known that the business households in rural area faced difficulties in capital sources. the Center coordinated with Tan Hung district Economic and Technical Division to develop a project "Supporting to apply toxin filtering machines in alcohol production". The project was built with a total cost of VND 88 million. Mr. Thanh's business household is supported with VND 44 million from the local industrial promotion fund in 2019 to buy a Vietnamese alcohol toxin filtering machines. The rest is reciprocal capital of business households.

Mr. Tran Phuoc Thanh shared that the toxin filtering machines in producing alcohol were invested with a capacity of 150-200 liters per hour. This investment aims to reduce the aldehyde content of alcohol, create standard products, increase competitiveness, meet quality requirements, ensure food hygiene and safety.

According to the Director of the Center - Pham Van Huong, through the testing process, the toxin filtering machines in alcohol production has brought practical effects to business households because it reduces the loss of raw materials and finished products. Since then, production costs are reduced, a safe food source is created, consumers feel secure when using the products, consumer markets are expanded, revenue and profits for business households are increased./.
