At the beginning of the dialogue, on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Huynh Van Son respectfully thanked the enterprises for taking the time to participate in the dialogue, which demonstrated the spirit of companionship and solidarity for the common development of Long An province. Thanks to this, in 2024, Long An maintained an impressive growth momentum with the province's growth rate reaching 8.3%; state budget revenue for the first time exceeded 26,500 billion VND; Investment attraction recorded an increase in many capital flows into the industrial, commercial and service sectors with more than 187,000 billion VND; many large projects were started and put into operation. In particular, Long An was voted in the Top 10 localities in attracting large enterprises in 2024.

The dialogue aimed to recognize the difficulties, to overcome them together and continue to develop. Thereby, enterprises gave many opinions and recommendations to the provincial leaders.

Accordingly, the representative of HP Long An Cordyceps Production and Trade Service Company proposed 2 issues: The province provides information on land funds for developing high-tech agriculture and preferential policies in this field; guide enterprises on procedures1 for land outside the planning to implement high-tech agricultural projects.

Quyen Auto Service Trading Production Company Limited proposed that the province provide information on tax and credit policies to support manufacturing enterprises and connect domestic raw material suppliers, helping enterprises increase the localization rate and meet export requirements. This enterprise also proposed that the province provide information on the implementation time of the Project to upgrade and renovate Provincial Road 830C.

Thinh Phat General Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company proposed that the competent authorities support enterprises in implementing compensation, site clearance and land recovery for households not subject to resettlement to ensure the progress of completing the resettlement project; provide guidance on procedures for expanding the investment period of industrial park to 50 years; Investors of Prodezi Industrial Park hope to receive support for site clearance for the remaining parts that have not been implemented.

In addition, a number of other enterprises also recommended that the province and district have solutions to ensure traffic order and safety in the roundabout area of ​​Ben Luc town; Long Kim intersection, etc.

All opinions of enterprises were answered by representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities, providing specific instructions for each case. Particularly for the project to renovate Provincial Road 830C, the leader of the Department of Transport informed that the province initially had a policy to implement it early, but after surveying, the cost of compensation for site clearance was high, from the estimated 220 billion VND to more than 1,000 billion VND, generating more capital than expected. Currently, the Provincial People's Committee has submitted to the Provincial People's Council for approval of the new policy and will implement it in the period of 2026-2030; expected to start construction in early 2026.

Speaking at the dialogue, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut emphasized: "Long An's viewpoint is to always accompany businesses. Businesses should consider Long An as their second home, so we can share joy, resolve difficulties together".

With the recommendations of businesses, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut requested that departments, branches and localities continue to review and closely coordinate with businesses to find optimal solutions, assign responsibilities clearly to people, ensure transparency, efficiency and have progress reports with no delay.

Ben Luc district currently has more than 2,500 businesses operating with a total registered capital of more than 100,000 billion VND (accounting for 25.4% of registered capital and 7.5% of the total number of enterprises in the province). In 2024 alone, the district will establish 313 new enterprises.

With advantages in geographical location, convenient traffic connections and strong investment in infrastructure, Ben Luc district is becoming one of the key economic, industrial and service centers of the province.
