100% of the Ring Road 3 project site has been handed over

On October 3, Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc inspected and surveyed the construction site of the Ring Road 3 project in Ho Chi Minh City and the resettlement area.

Reporting to the working delegation, Chairman of the Ben Luc District People's Committee - Le Thanh Ut said that regarding the implementation of the general planning of Ben Luc urban area until 2045, the planning task dossier has been completely revised according to the comments of the central ministries and branches. In mid-September 2024, the province submitted a document to the Prime Minister for approval of the planning task.

In addition, Mr. Le Thanh Ut also informed about the implementation of some zoning planning projects at a scale of 1/2,000 to call for investors to bid for the project.

For the construction project of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 through the province, up to now, Ben Luc district has handed over 100% of the construction site (47.2 hectares), paid compensation of more than 944/952.7 billion VND (reaching 99%). There are 3 households that have not been paid due to legal procedures. Through the resettlement policy review, the project has 95 cases that meet the conditions for resettlement.

For the Provincial Road 830E project, the district has paid 780/878 households (reaching nearly 89%) with the amount of more than 1,395/1,635 billion VND (reaching 85.4%).

"Currently, the Provincial Road 830E project is still facing difficulties and obstacles when 98 households have not agreed to receive compensation for site clearance with the amount of 236.4 billion VND (4.7 hectares). These households have not agreed to the compensation price and resettlement support. The district is continuing to propagate, mobilize and synchronously implement other solutions for the remaining households to soon hand over the site to the construction unit" - Mr. Le Thanh Ut said.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Transport reported on the progress of the implementation of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project and Provincial Road 830E. Leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment informed about the roadmap and implementation plan of the Resettlement Area of ​​Provincial Road 830E and the 100 hectares of clean land fund in Thanh Phu commune, as well as difficulties and problems in compensation and site clearance.
