Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut praises the efforts of Tan An City in carrying out the task of socio-economic development over the past time

In the first nine months of 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic has complicated developments, affecting the industry structure, production value and contribution to the city budget. In that context, the city strives to effectively implement the socio-economic development plan in 2021.

The city has 14 out of 16 targets that have been basically completed, 1 target is waiting for the end of the year to be assessed (the rate of multidimensional poor households according to the indicator has only decreased by 10 percent compared to the beginning of 2021) and 1 budget revenue target determined to complete at the highest level.

In the implementation of the city's Ring Road, the city organized a tally of 1,680 households, reaching 100 percent; paid compensation and supported 86.9 percent of affected households.

The city also has a number of recommendations and proposals to the Provincial People's Committee to consider and agree on some contents on the financial-investment mechanism; urban planning, construction, embellishment and management; compensation, support and resettlement.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut praised the results achieved by Tan An City in recent years. With the recommendations and proposals of Tan An City, he has detailed and specific instructions on each issue; request relevant departments and branches to have timely support for the city to complete the set targets and tasks.

At the same time, he also suggested the city strive to achieve the budget revenue target. Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Finance balance and regulate the capital of Bao Dinh river embankment project.

Tan An City can also consider and implement high-storey/low- storey projects in accordance with the actual local situation, creating accents and aesthetics for the face of the city.

In addition, the city focuses on compensation and site clearance in eligible cases, on the basis of ensuring compliance with the law, creating consensus among the people, etc./.
