At the My Quy Tay Border Gate Station, the commanders of units reported to the delegation on the results of border management and protection, anti-crime, and the readiness to take actions in the Commemoration of Hung Kings' death anniversary, the 48th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023) and the 137th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2023).

Since the beginning of 2023 up to now, in the work of anti-smuggling and banned goods, My Quy Tay Border Gate Station has presided over and coordinated forces to arrest 16 cases, 14 entities; seized nearly 135kg of firecrackers, over 21,700 packages of smuggled foreign cigarettes, 8 motorcycles, 10 cows, 41.27g of drugs, etc. In addition, the unit coordinated with police forces to arrest 19 entities who has a wanted warrant.

Meanwhile, My Thanh Tay Border Guard Station arrested 6 cases, 6 entities, seized 30 tons of sugar, nearly 6,000 packages of smuggled foreign cigarettes, 4 motorbikes as means of transport, etc.

On the occasion of Hung King's death anniversary, April 30 and May 1, the My Quy Tay Border Gate Station and My Thanh Tay Border Guard Station developed plans to ensure the number of troops on duty, ready to fight, and perform their duties in border management and protection, prevention of illegal entry and exit, prevention and control of epidemics spreading across borders; strengthen the organization of patrols, strictly control borders and border gates, organize secret plans to prevent and combat smuggling, crime, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut asked the units to strengthen the coordination and synchronous implementation of solutions to prevent and combat crime and smuggling. In particular, the inspection units must have a firm grasp of the areas and entities to monitor, supervise and promptly detect, prevent and strictly handle violations,etc.
