The activities of cooperatives and CGs in the past time have had many positive changes, service quality has been constantly improved, they better meet the needs and bring practical benefits to members, so they feel secure to participate in the cooperatives. The market economy movement has made practical contributions to local socio-economic development. The activities of cooperatives and CGs have initially aroused great potentials among the people by ensuring democracy, voluntarily working together to contribute to economic restructuring, sustainable poverty eradication. The movement of the market economy has also become a "bridge" between the Party committees, the authorities, the local socio-political organizations and the people in propagating and disseminating the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State.

Despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the market-based economy movement has made important contributions to the cause of socio-economic construction and development in the province, creating a new change in quality in the organization and management, content and mode of operation. Many types of market-based economy have diversified development in branches and fields, appearing some effective models, closely linked with the material and spiritual interests of members.

According to general note, most of the cooperatives have promoted the role of supporting economic development of households. Some cooperatives have accelerated the application of new technology in cultivation and livestock and poultry, being the core in veterinary work, disease prevention, restructuring plant and animal, opening up all kinds of occupations, creating jobs, increasing income for thousands of members and employees, gradually showing a new promising model of cooperative model.

Director of Kien Binh Cooperative - Duong Hoai An shared: “Currently, a number of cooperatives expand joint venture cooperation, linking inside and outside the province, increasing the scale of production, business, expanding markets, enhancing the thus, the role of the cooperative. Products and services of some cooperatives have really created a firm foothold in the market, contributing to the state budget, participating in solving local social security issues well”.

Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union - Dang Minh Hai said: “The PM has just signed Decision No. 1804 approving the “Program to support the development of CE and cooperatives in the period of 2021-2025 with the goal of establishing a new one until 2025 10,000 CE organizations”. This program aims to support and develop the key economic region in both width and depth, with special emphasis on improving the quality of operations, supporting members through raising awareness of the entire population about CE; at the same time, it strengthens the capacity of the market economy organizations to further promote the role of association, cooperation, and support of members and regional communities; enhancing the competitiveness of the household economy; and so on to build market-based organizational models applying high technology, having products associated with the value chain, sustainable development, 50 percent of the total Knowledge-based economy organization associated with other enterprises, market-based organizations”.

Over the past years, the economic sector has made important contributions to the province's socio-economic development. The change has many causes but there are two very important influencing factors, that is the need for cooperation of the people, small producers in production, life, in the market mechanism and secondly due to the direct and multifaceted impact under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of Central Resolution 5 (Session IX) on the market-based economy; Central Resolution 7 (Session X) on agriculture, farmers and rural areas and Directive 20-CT/TW of the Secretariat on the development of market-based economy.

Currently, the whole province has 262 cooperatives, including: 204 agricultural cooperatives, 23 transport cooperatives, 3 construction cooperatives, 3 trade - service cooperatives, 6 industry - handicraft cooperatives, 4 water and environment cooperatives. and 19 people's credit funds; in which 25 cooperatives stopped working (3 transport cooperatives, 21 agricultural cooperatives, 1 industry - handicraft cooperative) and specially controlled 1 people's credit fund./.
